What we do

This is the clean that gets looked at. At check-out, the agent or the inventory clerk walks the property with the check-in report in hand and writes down the difference. That comparison is the standard we clean to.

We clean the communal areas of blocks of flats in Wembley, Harrow, Willesden and Cricklewood, Kilburn and Queen's Park, Ealing and Acton. Entrance lobbies, stairwells, corridors, lifts, communal glass, bin stores and the approach to the front door. This work is bought by managing agents, freeholders and RMC and RTM directors, and it is paid for out of the service charge, which means it has to be visible as well as done.

A deep clean is a one-off job. We agree a date, we come once, we work through the property or just the rooms you pick, and then we are done.

Carpet, upholstery and mattress cleaning, all done with hot water extraction. The machine puts a cleaning solution into the pile under pressure and pulls it straight back out, bringing the dirt with it. That is the part a vacuum cannot reach, because a lot of what makes a carpet look tired is sitting below the surface, not on top of it.

A job can be finished and still look unfinished, and the reason is nearly always dust. Construction dust is very fine. It hangs in the air for hours after the last trade has packed up and gone, then it lands — on top of doors, inside cupboards, along skirtings, in the light fitting of a room nobody worked in. One pass with a vacuum does not deal with that.
